Welcome to Zhineng Qigong India Centre

Zhineng Qigong is rated as China’s top notch medical qigong style by the Chinese sports bureau.  There are many different styles of qigong that exist today which are broadly classified as sports qigong, meditational qigong, physical or hard qigong and medical or soft qigong.  Zhineng Qigong comes under the category of medical qigong.  Zhineng qigong combines mind (conciousness), body and energy or qi to create a balance in the human body.  Its fundamental theory is based on the principle that universal energy or hunyuan qi exists every where.  Through many meridian points and energy channels running across our body, toxic or blocked qi is released by gathering more universal qi into the human body.  Energy blockages are created by stress or illness, life style, bad eating habits etc.  The more universal qi we bring into human body, the more toxic qi is expelled from the body and thereby making qi and blood flow freely in our body.  When the qi flows freely in the body, any imbalances or sicknesses are naturally balanced by the hunyuan qi.  Zhineng qigong activates physically, emotionally and spiritually balanced human.

Zhineng qigong is one of the oldest forms of Chinese medicine.  Zhineng Qigong was developed in the early 1980s by Professor Dr. Pang He Ming at a time when the Chinese government was encouraging the popularisation of qigong to reduce mounting medical costs and maintain good health amongst the Chinese citizens.  Its exercises are easy to learn and very effective.  Professor Pang is a doctor of Chinese medicine as well as western medicine.  Right from his childhood, he studied qigong and taichi under 19 different masters in China.  After much research and indepth study, he formulated zhineng qigong.  Soon his methods spread throughout China. The daily practice of these movements increases vital energy and unblocks the energy channels of the body to bring about a free flow of qi. Improved health is the outcome, since all illnesses are associated with lack of qi and blockages in its flow.  A series of movements and postures with the help of visualisation are carried out in a meditative state of deep relaxation.
